Music Ministry and Worship Team Statement

To inspire, encourage, train, and direct those whom God has called into the music ministry with a spirit of service, excellence, sensitivity, purity, humility and strength.

"It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the LORD, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth forever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the LORD; So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of God."

Volunteer Opportunities & Requirements

English Adult Worship team and Spanish Adult Worship Team

• Must have a personal, born again relationship with Jesus Christ
• Must have attended Oasis 6 months or more. (Membership Required)
• Must be at least 17 years old
• Must complete a successful audition
• Must attend weekly rehearsals, at Oasis Church.
• Must be able to sing in at least 2 service per month
• Must be able to commit to at least 1 full year of ministry with the Team
• Must be committed to worshiping the Lord

Youth Drama Team (6th-12th Grades)

• Must attend Oasis Church on a regular basis.
• Must be in 6th-12th Grades
• Must complete a successful audition and be accepted into the Choir.
• Must attend Youth Drama rehearsals held on Wednesday evenings at 7:00PM
• Must be able to commit to 6 months of ministry with the Team
• Must be committed to worshiping the Lord

Worship Musicians Team

• Must have a personal, born again relationship with Jesus Christ
• Must have attended Oasis Church 6 months or more (become a member of Oasis)
• Must be at least 13 years old
• Must complete a successful audition
• Must attend weekly rehearsals, currently held Friday evenings, 7:00pm.
• Must be able to play in at least 3 services per month
• Must be able to commit to at least 1 full year of ministry with the worship team
• Must be committed to worshiping the Lord
